Cookie Policy
Last updated: 25 September 2026
This policy explains how fabKABINETT uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies, and how you can control optional analytics.
1. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. The website also uses local storage to remember your consent preference. Under applicable ePrivacy rules, non-essential storage or access is used only after consent.
2. Strictly Necessary Storage
- fabkabinett-cookie-consent — localStorage entry used to remember your cookie preference. It stores whether analytics is enabled, a consent version and the date of your choice. It is necessary to respect and remember your privacy choice and is re-requested after 180 days or after a material consent configuration change.
- Security and platform technologies that are strictly necessary to deliver, secure or operate the website may be used without analytics consent where permitted by law.
3. Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is disabled by default and its scripts are not loaded until you actively consent to analytics. When enabled, Google may set cookies including _ga and _ga_* to distinguish users and sessions and measure website usage. Google documents a typical lifetime of up to 2 years for these GA4 cookies, subject to configuration and renewal on use.
4. Purpose and Legal Basis
Analytics is used to understand aggregated traffic, page usage and website performance. The legal basis for loading non-essential analytics technologies is your consent. Refusing analytics does not prevent you from using the website or submitting an RFQ.
5. Third Parties and Transfers
Google Analytics is provided by Google. Data processed through Google services may involve international transfers. Where required, such transfers must rely on a valid GDPR transfer mechanism. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
6. Managing and Withdrawing Consent
You can accept all, reject optional analytics or save a custom preference in the consent panel. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using “Cookie Settings” in the footer. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent. When analytics is disabled, the website attempts to remove _ga and _ga_* cookies accessible from the current domain.
7. Browser Controls
You may also delete or block cookies using your browser settings. Browser-level blocking may affect some website functions, but analytics consent is controlled independently through our Cookie Settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy if the technologies, providers or legal requirements change. The current version and its update date are published on this page.
